Katherine is a Teaching Fellow for The College of Law in Australia on its Master in Legal Business programme. She designed the subject on strategy and delivered it in 2019 and 2020. Her mean feedback score from students was 4.75/5 and the net promoter score for her course overall was +70. Feedback comments included:

On learning of Katherine’s arrival in WA, we sought her out, given her international reputation in legal outsourcing, to assist us in establishing our JacMac+ service, which was a new line of business for our firm. Working with our senior management team, she advised on the strategy and business case and planned the implementation. Upon launch, she worked within the firm to embed and grow the service. My observations on Katherine’s work are that she adds value both at a strategic and at an operational level, which is very important in a project of this type. When we worked together, I valued Katherine’s ability to see the big picture at the same time as rolling her sleeves up to get things done. She has a firm grasp on developments in the law and wide reference points, which she applies to bringing new and creative ideas to the table. Katherine operates with high levels of integrity and quickly develops trust and rapport with a wide range of people.
What’s great about Katherine is that she combines the strategic with the operational, meaning things actually happen and change! She has worked closely with us on all aspects of strategy, sales and marketing since early 2016. She guided us through developing a three year strategy in 2016 and again in early 2020. Our 2016 strategy was challenging but grounded in reality, which meant it was achieved and our business developed as a result. As part of this, Katherine helped us to implement new visual branding and a new website. Katherine also works with me on client reviews, provides monthly partner coaching and has led the process mapping of two key areas of law, resulting in a more efficient approach and more transparent client experience. In addition, she writes and edits content and manages our marketing and sales activities. Katherine continually brings new ideas to the table, is responsive, professional and personable. She is not afraid to challenge us but always does so in a considered and constructive way. We see her as a very valuable member of our team
Katherine helped our wills and succession planning team undertake a wholesale examination and re-design of their processes from client meeting to product delivery, which resulted in a far more efficient and productive experience, both for our legal team and for our clients. Katherine’s rare combination of experience in law firm strategic planning, knowledge of law tech and other process improvement, and understanding of people (plus actual enjoyment of what she does!) made her the ideal choice for a project that required a wholesale change in how we do things at Cullen Macleod. Cannot recommend highly enough!
Incredibly talented speaker
Katherine has the great ability to offer strategic insights one minute and to roll her sleeves up and drive a project the next. This is a rare skill set in the consulting market and I can't recommend her approach and work highly enough.

As Managing Partner of Pinsent Masons, I worked with Katherine from 2004 to 2015, during which time she held a variety of senior roles in business development, knowledge and, most recently, as Co-Founder of Vario, our flexible resourcing hub.
